WHY is there NO straight line from A to B?
A poem celebrating our Manifesting Generators
I live in a small town in the mountains of Bulgaria called Bansko.
Between my home and the coworking space there’s about 1.2 km of possibilities- 2 main roads, with many smaller roads crossing between them.
Yet my ex, a 5/1 Manifesting Generator, managed to make this trip last… Much Longer! Taking detours that lead us across town- just to see the view.
And while it was often annoying, especially when you’re in a rush to get to work… I do remember our road trips, planned or accidental, very fondly.
If you’re a Human Design Manifesting Generator- this poem was written with you in mind. You might not have a straight line from A to B, but your nonlinear mind can lead to unexpected beautiful experiences… And I hope you know that!
Love Me For The Scenic Route
If you want me to stay close,
don’t call me lost
just because I change lanes.
I am gathering,
I am weaving a tapestry
with every detour I take.
Don’t shrink my world
to just the things we have in common.
I love you even more -
when we dance to different songs.
I crave variety like it is oxygen.
Please don’t interrupt unless your need
is bigger than my focus -
because my mind and hands
are already juggling a universe.
Know this:
I judge myself more than you ever could.
I am my own critic,
and my own celebration.
If I take the longer road,
it’s because I want to show you
the sunsets you might have missed,
if you went straight.
